First off not only for the functionality of this 3rd Tacoma hood solar panel but I want to start off with how nice and formal it looks on the hood of my Tacoma it adds a nice touch and always get compliments on it,
As far as the install goes it’s so simple literally anybody can do it you can check out my install video it’s so easy all plug and play,
I like the fact that this will keep my battery up to charge at all times in that it should help make my battery last a lot longer eventually I’ll be adding a power bank or dual battery with this so I can keep my fridge running and more items at all times. Loving the product so far would recommend it

I Installed a Lensun 90W (5A, 18v)hood panel on my 2104 Tacoma along with a Lensun 50W (2.8A,17.5v)panel on the top of my cab. My system uses a Redarc BCDC1240D charge controller with 2 Dakota Lithium 60Ah batteries (in parallel). I’ve had the panels about a year now and have monitored their performance at different times of the day throughout the year. The panels are performing as expected and I’ll soon be upgrading the 50W cab top panel with a larger custom sized 100w panel. I’m able to maintain about 2.9amps from the hood panel and 1.9amps from the cab panel for the majority of the day, combined runs about 4.7amps. I have a 3rd 120W portable panel wired in parallel and can achieve about 11amps total with all 3 panels. These panels meet my needs for charging batteries while camping. Another plus is permanently mounted panels are convenient as my storage space is limited and it eliminates the worry about them being stolen when I’m away from camp. During the purchase and installation of the panels I had many questions, all of which were answered rapidly. Lensun has excellent customer support, five star!
I recommend Lensun panels and plan to add them to my other vehicles.
